KONLUN — Handmade with Heart, Crafted for the Earth

I’ve been working in the bag industry for many years—leather, cotton, canvas, all sorts of shapes and sizes. But honestly, I’ve always had a thing for fabric bags, especially cotton and canvas ones. They feel light, natural, just… easy to carry around. 

The thing is, most of them are so plain, kind of boring. I started thinking, why not add a little handmade touch? Just a patch here, a stitch there, a bit of embroidery, or hand-printing a simple design. Nothing fancy, just something that makes a plain cotton bag feel a bit more personal. That’s really how it all began.

Now, every KONLUN tote bag carries that journey — from uncertainty to quiet purpose.

Each bag is made from eco-friendly cotton, then thoughtfully hand-decorated with patchwork, embroidery, or hand-crafted dyeing and printing techniques — one piece at a time. No two are ever exactly alike — each carries its own story. They’re meant to be used, loved, and lived with — a soft, sustainable companion for everyday life.

At KONLUN, I believe that fashion should be intentional. It’s not just about what you carry — it’s about how it’s made, and what it stands for. My work celebrates simplicity, resilience, and the beauty of creating slowly, with heart. While hand-sewing details minimize environmental impact compared to mass printing, our hand-dyeing and hand-painting processes are carefully crafted to use eco-conscious materials and methods, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.
